Bath-Haverhill Covered Bridge

The Bath Covered Bridge over the Ammonoosuc River off US 302 in Bath, New Hampshire. Built in 1832, according to the NH Dept of Transportation, it is the oldest covered bridge in NH still in use.

Fostering Sunset

The A.M. Foster covered bridge in Cabot, Vermont. I usually see images of this bridge as a night shot with the Milky Way in the background (next time, I promise), but it is picturesque in most light/seasons. In some ways, it reminds me of Motif No. 1 in Rockport, MA. I wouldn't be surprised to see en plein air artists scattered about with their easels - if it was a little less remote. And, yes, this is Cabot as in Cabot Cheese (the maker of my favorite 3-yr aged extra sharp cheddar).
