The forest trails in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan are all beautiful.. Surprisingly, this is true of even some of the most heavily trafficked paths - like this one: The short Miners Falls Trail located in the western portion of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and near Munising.
This was taken in August along the Maine coast - just off Peabody Drive on the way to Northeast Harbor from Acadia National Park). The weather was foggy and damp with off-and-on rain most of the day - in other words, great New England weather and light!
